Doll Rivers

A term used to refer to the smaller rivers that occur within Laidros' borders.

They're small, sometimes only flowing for a few miles, and often only contained on the land of one or two families. They often hold sentimental value for a family, as well as a sign of ones fortunes.

When the river dries, a family will tighten it's belts in anticipation. When it overflows, they may become more open to opportunities and taking chances to improve their lot in life.
