they came to her with ships filled with modern powder and shot, and sought to sell it to her at a discounted price, hoping to make a profit with volume as opposed to price point. They gave her a demonstration, stating that the powder was more reliable than any before as they poured a small mound in front of her. Without a word, she summoned a spark from her hands, and let it float to the powder.

The merchants pleaded. It was more reliable, not perfect. It wasn't waterproof and had sat at the docks while they waited for an audience. If she simply let it dry a bit more it would go up spectacularly.

The merchants found themselves tied to stones and thrown to the bottom of the lake they had brought their wares across. Their men, after a fight, were simply executed with only one from each ship randomly selected to carry the story back home. The ships themselves burned and sunk in the lake.
When the nations of the merchants demanded satisfaction, she stone walled them all, and eventually they simply gave up.
