Cardinal Zaccheus Ezekiel Barnet (a.k.a. The Church Dog)

Cardinal of the Laidrian church and general in the Laidrian army, Barnet is in command of the Laidrian 4th Army.
Given the position due to some deft political maneuvering on the part of the church, the crown has had a devil of a time trying to get him out. He has avoided scandal, mishap, and disparaging remarks from contemporaries all while building the 4th up totally out of the eye of the king, though the king isn't unaware of what is going on.
Has a long and contentious relation with Amos Coffee and his family, though no one is sure where the bone of discontent actually is for either of them, simply that they dislike each other so intensely that they must be watched if they are in the same room together.
