Dew Drops

After a long enmity, humans, kami and yōkai came to a truce. And from the bloodied battlefield grew blossom cherry tree to symbolize the peace. Each faction would have its dedicated territory whose entry would be forbidden to others.   This is not the kind of deal that would satisfy Yama. Even among his kin, he was always the most extreme, ready to do anything to achieve his goals. And so he left the tengu's mountain with some of his followers. He swore that he would not return before all humans have succumbed, for this race was unworthy of walking the same ground as a yōkai.
