Order of Timekeepers
Structure
Follows a stereotypical monastic structure. The head of the order is voted upon by a council of the ten most senior members.
Culture
The Order of Timekeepers has a vow of silence, and members are not allowed to speak at louder than a whisper except for religious services or for teaching, as this is thought to drown out the knowledge from the universe which only divulges itself to a quiet mind and heart. The monks are simple people, and while their diet consists mainly of water, bread, cheese and soup from the vegetable gardens, the kitchens are able to cook up more robust meals for the visitors.
