Your bloodline has close, strong ties to the unending winter found in the Frozen North. Your ancestors may have been allied with frost giants. They might have made a pact with the great demigods and Eidals that lurk within its frozen expanse. Perhaps your ancestors were devout followers of the late Goddess of Winter, Aneiren, and received her blessing.
Regardless of how you gained your magic, you are a creature of winter incarnate with ice running through your veins and the cold at your command.
Frozen Spells
You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Frozen Spells table. Each spell counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer spells you know. These spells can’t be replaced when you gain a level in this class.
Whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level. The new spell must be an evocation or a transmutation spell from the sorcerer, warlock, or wizard spell list.

Frost Armor
At 1st level, you can expend a spell slot as a bonus action and freeze part of your body. For the next minute, your AC equals 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Charisma modifier.
Glacial Steps
At 1st level, you can cause the ground to freeze where you walk. For the next minute, every 5-foot square you exit becomes glazed in ice and is treated as difficult terrain. Non-magical flames in the spaces you walk over are extinguished. Any water that you move through freezes and becomes solid ice that can support the weight of a Large or smaller creature. The ice caused by this feature lasts for 10 minutes, melting when it expires.
Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest or you cast a spell of 1st level or higher that deals cold damage.
Frozen Soul
When you reach 6th level, you gain resistance to cold damage. In addition, you are unaffected by difficult terrain created by ice or snow.
Cryostasis
At 14th level, as a reaction you can expend two sorcery points and encase yourself in ice, which melts at the beginning of your next turn. You gain temporary hit points equal to three times your Sorcerer level, which take as much of the triggering damage as possible. Immediately after you take damage, you gain vulnerability to fire damage, your speed is reduced to 0, and you are incapacitated. These effects, including any remaining temporary hit points, all end when the ice melts.
Winter Incarnate
At 18th level, you gain immunity to cold damage and resistance
to fire damage.
You also learn the
Blizzard spell. The spell counts as a sorcerer
spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number
of sorcerer spells you know. In addition, you can cast it once
without expending a spell slot. When you do, you can choose a number of creatures equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1). If the chosen creatures fail the saving throw, they gain one level of exhaustion as the cold from the blizzard starts to freeze their vitality.
Once you cast the spell in this way, you can’t do so again until
you finish a long rest.
