Ranari

The Ranari were once a vast and mighty nomadic nation known as Rana. However, in the Battle of the Broken Moon, most of their people were caught in the destruction that shattered the continent of Hedas and formed the The Broken Sea. The only survivors were those fortunate few saved by Kinn, and the smaller scouting clans that were far off at the time. Now a shadow of their once great people, the remaining Ranari clans struggle to continue in the face of dwindling numbers, persecution, and a distance between the various clans, both literally and figuratively.

Structure

There are dozens of Ranari clans, most of which are few in number and of little notice. The few clans worth the name are listed below.
The Ashhand Clan - a clan versed in fire dancing and mastery of fire. They suffered extreme persecution at the hands of the Luminous Highlands and ended up mostly settling down in the Vales of Fire alongside the Herd of Whirling Flames, who helped them in their darkest time. To stay true to their nomadic roots, the noteworthy young members of their clan are sent out on pilgrimages to see the world and bring back news from the other major clans.
