Chosen Village
Founded by lost souls from the south, they followed a legend that foretold of the cold that would come and that their only way to survive was to create an isolated village. They found a piece of parchment that told them "A smooth long journey! Great expectations." on the back was written:

CD - Caer Dineval

To aid in others finding the path to the town if it was their "Chosen" path, they left these markings in shorthand around Ten Towns:

SW Years had passed from when the original few traversed land and settled Chosen. Facts became myths, myths into legends and soon the elders of the town sought after the "Chosen One" who was foretold to return one day and save the land after the fall of the deep winter. One of the elders paid a scryer to show them their fabled hero, and from those images the relics and statues were carved.
