Tattoo Guilds

Most Tattoo Guilds are connected together in some fashion, so acceptance in one tends to give the same opportunities from any tattoo guild -- unless some major issue arises between any specific guild.   That said, the Guilds of Dierde goes more in-depth on what a guild offers.   When you join you are given a handbook, a pin, and an essence extractor.   The handbook gives you the rules, bylaws, secrets, and other essential info. Including the locations of current known places where you can contact them and how to use the extractor as well as current list of "quests".   The Quests have two main types, standing quests and current quests. Standing are generally always accepting and current quests come-and-go.   For the Tattoo Guilds the Standing Quests offer locations where tattooists can pick up jobs, and this can also fall into current since locations may shift from time to time and based on seasons...   However there are almost always Standing Quests to find certain ingredients used for ink or tattooing materials (like magic tatttoo tools or such), especially the "essence" of creatures.  

Current Standing Quests

  Any Essence.   Any Reagent.   Any unique part of magic/special creatures     -- The Wild Cards have access to the "Port Authority" which is also a network to buy/sell such things, but one can earn "renown" by which group the essences and reagats are sold to.   Renown is earned by doing things for the guild, such as finding materials they can use, doing quests for them, etc... Renown can lead to better benefits.       ....   note: time in a guild can also allow guildmembers to improve their craft and learn new things...
