Duo Episode - Dealing Devil
General Summary
Cast away by the magic of a wish spell, Fae'Aldian flew through the House of a Thousand Faces and landed on top of Nyssa. An inch from each others face they met, tiefling to dhampir. After drinking together the pair agreed to hunt down the dark creatures as they struck a common chord. Nyssa, having taken an interest in Fae'Aldian's recent encounter, met with the kid that cast Fae'Aldian away and the pair of them learned he'd been misusing a Ring of Three Wishes. They explained to him what a soul was and he realized then that he was in big trouble. They got a description of the man who sold him the ring and then both wished him luck.
Intent upon getting the kid's soul back, they returned to the House of a Thousand Faces and found their quarry. He flirted with them both and offered them a seat and lavish meal. They ate together and talked about their morals, learned he was lawful evil and then Nyssa asked for him to free the boy. He said he did so in the name of making new friends. They shared rumors then and talked of the town and when Nyssa mentioned them, he named a group of adventurers for her, he called them the Champions of Destiny. Hretrievingirected Fae'Aldian to draw a symbol and told them of the house near the House of Knowledge where the wall fell in and a human man had a letter he needed them to retrieve. He reminded them that it was somewhat illegal to cross wall but they took the task and headed on.
The pair made it to a shop owned by a man named Stron Lothechot and bought some supplies from him. They bought alchemical supplies with an offer of 5 for a future pay of 50 gold total. They then went to a temple of Kelemvor seeking holy water the clergyman there swapped childhood stories with them. He suggested that Nyssa consider a god, requested that she think on Kelemvor and visit again when she had time; so that she might pray at an altar and contemplate her faith. He then offered her a vial, he simply made it appear in his hand.
"Go with grace, and fear not death for in it you might find a familiar face."
When they were on their way out, Fae'Aldian felt suspicious and stopped a clergy member. She asked him of whom they spoke to and the man suggested that they were describing Kelemvor. When Nyssa pressed the matter, the clergy member asked them leave for pretending that they spoke to Kelemvor.
Outside, they considered heading to the House of Knowledge and over the wall.
