Smiley
A journal kept by Ms. Citizen and left to the Atrium, suggested Smiley was an orphan, who's past was unknown to even her. She'd moved from Christian home to nunnery and back again never finding her place never getting a chance to build her light in her early age. Ms. Citizen wrote that southern will has southern ways and Smiley truly knew the mercy of God's miracles. She was blessed with a gift that could heal the sick and dying and blast foe's alike. Playing her saxophone brought her powerful gifts to fruition and Smiley claimed them to truly be a a gift from God. She'd sworn not to become a false prophet but to solve and make right an evil world whilst spreading his name. She'd much to do and little time, there were mysteries abound as she explored the world but first there were the matters of home.
She'd been playing her sax when they met and they played together after the adoption. At home, little Smiley was cared for by none other then the famous blues musician Chester Brown. As "The Smiling Orphan," Smiley backed every gig Chester Brown played and he played every dive in town. As both an opportunity to minister to the less then pious and a chance to find a home, she called the band and its wagon her home. Chester Brown had a secret though, he was in fact the The Bluesman of pulp legend, the one who would later fight the mob in the West End in '27, the one who'd been handling bad guys all over town but he needed her help. She always patched Chester up when he got in over his head and she did until the day he retired after the fight that nearly killed him.
Additionally, Bluesman thought her blessed by God himself. Also, she was thought to have lived her life out among Chester's family but her actual identity remained unknown; the only possibility of a hint would have been her race among the family as she was Caucasian.
