Robin Hood and his merry men take to the greenwood to protect the peasants of England while King Richard I (the Lion-Hearted) is away on the Third Crusade, leaving England in the hands of corrupt officials under his brother, Prince John. Robin Hood was actually Robert, Earl of Huntington, but was known as Robin of Locksley.
