Laughing hysterically the guy continued, "You were powerless, you watched it like the changing of the seasons but you couldn't do nothing as he ushered in a new era. You gotta act or you'll watch it all. You gotta' know, with great power comes great responsibility." He then pulled out his pistol and shot himself in the head. It was all like deja vu.

-Doc Scott arrives with two heroes from the future and explains that a man called Dr. Tomorrow arrived from the future in order to change the past so that his alternate reality would never be created. In so doing he stole two men from their possible future to aid in a battle soon to come with creatures known as Timewraiths. He brought the men along because they would be necessary but he's set the timeline right with Scott's help. A slight adjustment spared Bluesman's life and corrected for the upcoming World War II but he doesn't inform the party of that.
