Odin's own gathered with a Green Lantern and Than, the Last Titan of Urgrund to battle Darkseid. In a desperate attempt to sunder the rising New God of Apokalips, Asgardians fought alongside the English, Vikings, a contingent of the Amazonians, and the Elves of Álfheimr to invade Apokolips and kill the god. Sundering the parademons, the heroes found themselves on the losing end even with the arrival of Than's Black Order. Betrayed by a "dragon" sent with Than by the Champions of Destiny; the demon's army, whom served Neveh, changed the course of the battle and left the forces of good sundered.
