Danika Petrova
Danika Petrova is a resilient Barovian woman who owns a small farm Danika's Farmhouse on the outskirts of the village. Despite the oppressive atmosphere of Barovia, Danika determination and love for her daughter have kept her going. She was married to Ivan, a kind-hearted Vistani who gave up travelling life to share her dream of a peaceful life on their farm.
Tragedy struck when a pack of vicious werewolves attacked their homestead. Ivan valiantly fought to protect his family but ultimately lost his life in the encounter. Danika was left devastated, but she found strength in her grief, vowing to carry on and provide a safe life for their daughter, Isabelle.
Now, Danika single-handedly tends to the farm, working tirelessly to ensure they have enough food and resources. Despite the dangers lurking in the Barovian forests, she refuses to abandon the place that holds cherished memories of her husband. Danika is resourceful, using her knowledge of plants and herbs to cultivate a small garden that sustains them.
While her days are filled with hard work, Danika always makes time for her daughter. She instills in Isabelle the values of resilience and self-reliance, teaching her practical skills and the importance of standing up against the darkness that plagues their land. Together, they share stories of Ivan's bravery, keeping his memory alive.
