Elara Greenbloom, a wondering Fey now trapped in Barovia, has found solace and purpose within her Enchanted Garden  nestled deep within the dark forests of Barovia. She spent years honing her magical abilities and mastering the arts of nature and alchemy, seeking refuge from the bleakness of the land.
Retaining only the smallest connection to her realm and not wanting to be part of the war with Strahd. She secluded herself in her garden, pouring her love and magic into cultivating vibrant and magnificent flora that thrived under her care. The garden became her sanctuary, a realm of beauty and tranquility amidst the desolation. Unbeknownst to Elara, the Abbot of the Abbey of Saint Markovia has learned of her garden mistakenly attributing it to a legenday artifact, the Symbol of Life. Believing it to be a crucial component in his plan to restore souls to the people of Barovia, he dispatches a group of adventurers to retrieve it. The party is tasked with convincing Elara to part with the symbol willingly or securing it through other means.
