Ranger

Rangers are expert monster slayers. They spend years studying their preferred prey, perfecting their ability to trap and kill it. Rangers form bonds with wild animals, which they use in their hunts, and can cast a small number of druid spells.   While fully capable of fighting against a variety of foes, rangers are especially deadly against their favored enemies. Due to most being nature mages, however, rangers are expected to abide by similar rules to druids and must belong to a druidic circle.

Druidic Circles

Circle of Earthen Divinity: Rangers of a Circle of Earthen Divinity have devoted themselves to a specific nature god. These rangers are guided on their journey to gain nature magic and are held to a higher standard. Earthen Circle rangers gain spells from two nature domains. In exchange, not only must they remain Ecophiles and Philozoic, but also aligned with their god's disposition requirements.
Circle of Halcyon: The least demanding circle, it is a part of the Arcanists' League, more concerned with policing magic than moderating the natural world. Halcyon rangers can only select the Magic divine domain's spells but are only expected to be Ecophiles and Philozoic.
Circle of Mana: Circle of Mana rangers are concerned with the balance between reality and the astral, and do not necessarily care about the state of the natural world. While still expected to be Philozoic and an Ecophile, these rangers are able to select any nature domain and its spells.
Renegade Rangers: Rangers who do not fall into one of the above circles are illegal hedge mages. Such rangers are not held to any standard but will be hunted relentlessly for their betrayal.
