χ

χ usually pronounced as "Chi" is the term given to the binding "threads" woven throughout Dimension X, through nature and all of the cosmos.
It is understood that the threads could be seen as the "stitching" of the universe as well as it's "programming", instructing electrons to circle protons and neutrons, gravity and inertia for the planets to rotate, chemical reactions to take place and so on. For some, it is theorized that χ governs even time to flow a certain way, or for chains of events to happen, although test are inconclusive.
It is also thought that χ, as it is observed and understood by the denizens of Dimension X seems to "weave" itself into a certain predictable shape, hence, why gravity pulls towards the object with more mass, and elements don't randomly transmute to different things. For those in the past, at least in legends, who acutely understood and had the technology or skill to influence the weave find that, eventually, their "adjustments" to it were self correcting. Elements transmuted to something else turned back into what they were. Things that defied gravity eventually had to obey it and so on.

Manifestation

χ is usually invisible to the naked eye but there exist those with the talent or skill to "see" the threads such as Violet Glober.
