Military: Battle
Flint would sense the presence of a powerful entity after Ibahn Ovelenor would make a wish unbeknownst to his peers. The Third manifested onto the material plane for the first time decimating a part of the town of Taraygen and from this both it and Flint would come into conflict after one of Flints closest friends is caught in the middle as a casualty from his arrival.
Flint had always been attuned to the presence of magic and powerful entities. It was a sixth sense that had kept him alive through many dangerous situations. And so, when Ibahn Ovelenor made a wish that no one else knew about, Flint felt the presence of a massive, otherworldly force enter the material plane. It didn't take long for the Third to make its presence known. With a deafening roar, it descended upon the town of Taraygen, its sheer size and power decimating entire buildings and leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. In the chaos, one of Flint's closest friends was caught in the middle as a casualty from the Third's arrival. The grief and anger that filled Flint upon seeing the chasm where his friend's family home was like nothing he had ever experienced before. From that moment on, Flint knew that he would be in conflict with the Third. But it wouldn't be an easy task - the Third was unlike anything Flint had ever faced before, and it seemed to have an endless supply of power at its disposal. Flint knew that he would need to rely on his own abilities, as well as the help of others. As Flint struck his weapon, the Piece of Ethereal pulsed with energy, drawing power from the Third. The air crackled with magic and the ground shook. Flint's strikes grew faster and more powerful as he channeled the entity's abilities through his weapon and into his body. Despite the Third's fury, Flint remained determined. Then, with a thunderous strike, the Piece of Ethereal exploded in light, sending the Third back and dissipating its form. In the silence that followed, Flint watched as the entity faded away, knowing it would return. But for now, he had succeeded in banishing it from the material plane.
