The Mermen and Mermaids have always been regarded as one of the less humanlike species in Diratia. Weirdly, they are physically similar to their human counterpart except for a fish’s lower body. These differences come mainly from their way of life: Large families with multiple male and female (known as Pods), no territorial division between most large cities and an aversion to war.
