Nuram Sdyre
Check under the bed for vines. The Nuram Sdyre is a strange plant. It is like a Venus flytrap, but instead of flies, it hunts elves. The plant can be found in Dolwen and Shinia, the two worlds that are well known for their elven population. This monstrous plant hunts its prey with its vines and pure trickery. A dense tangle of vines the Nuram Sdyre likes to live in caves and on the forest floor. It loves the shade and coolness of dark places. The plant produces flowers and berries. These flowers and berries are used to lure in prey. The plant also has a terminal portion of each of its leaves. The leaves then snap shut when the trigger hairs feel prey. Although theNuram Sdyre acts like a Venus flytrap it is also like the Nepenthes ventricosa or Tropical pitcher plants. Some of the plant's leaves look like the "flower" part of the Nepenthes ventricosa and act like them. Except the Nuram Sdyre doesn't kill its prey when it "eats" them. The trap has a lot different of teeth in these cacoons flower-like leaves that sink into the prey's flesh. This causes extreme pain to the victim until the poisons of the plant start to work. The plant will start to pump its victim full of narcotics to pacify the victim. Then the plant will start to slowly drain the blood of its victim. Because of the narcotics that the plant pumps into its victim the process is said to feel quite pleasurable.-Light Elven saying

Conservation Status
The Dark Elves have figured out how to use the Nuram Sdyre to capture Light Elves to sell into slavery. The Dark Elves raise and tend to these plants in farms before transplanting them into the wild. These domestic versions of the Nuram Sdyre are easier to work with because the plant will be more willing to let its victim go.
Light and Dark Elves will do just about anything to keep the Nuram Sdyre in check in the wild. Light Elves will also try to clear out any of these plants the Dark Elves have planted.
