Promene (Pro-ME-nay)
History
Promene had at one time been two smaller towns, Genumene and Prodem, nested on the side of the mountain. When their infrustructures grew, the two towns found that they both individually did not have the resources to get enough food and housing for their populations. Their leaders agreed to merge the towns, electing one new leader to direct it all. Promene grew under that man's rule, but the man's son, the new leader, has been less successful.
Geography
Palinede Mountain sits at the city's back.
Natural Resources
Palinede Mountain catches a lot of rainwater, and a snowcap forms atop it in the winter. Twin rivers flow around it year-round, providing an easy source of water to the townspeople. Additionally, some fish seasonally travel up the rivers to breed.
