The Roaming Draugr

There was a being full-plated,
a paladin time forgot.
Forging a great path of fire,
a fryer of all he fought.
He was defeated and entombed,
entered the earth at his time,
but again up and up he rose,
and I recompose this rhyme.
Now he wanders, a restless dead.
"This decision is made why?"
He sends Scorc and fiend to Kyros,
leaves the curious to cry.
When in village, have a hero,
honored dragon or giant.
If so, the Flame Knight continues,
construes his kin as client.
But if you spot him on the road
roaming where you must still go,
hide, do not let any be seen.
Stay serene if you do show.
When you hope for any success,
surrender not at first meet,
but if his flame is not replete,
your instinct repeat; retreat!

Who is the Draugr Knight?

Many stories have been concocted to explain the Varangian Draugr Knight that wanders Scorc'Heim. Some say that the hatred of his second exile drove this knight to the dark path he is now on. Others say that the devils laid a curse on him that means he must wander within the boundaries of Scorc'Heim and collect souls for them but retains his hatred for them when they enter his domain. A third group claim that he was an elven thrall gone wrong. Whatever the case, the Draugr Knight wanders alone and strikes fear into the hearts of those who have encountered the traveller.
