Basic Mechanics: 2 Damage. While you are using the Salvaging skill to gather a single resource and are at least halfway through the required skill timer to gather the resource, you may take 25 Points of Exhaustion (2.5 Levels) to immediately complete the Salvaging skill timer and collect your resource.
Achievement Mechanics: Avontuur - If you use the Basic Mechanic of this item you may instead forgo collecting your resource (losing the resource) and gain ‘Upsurge: 20 Mind’. This Mind can only be spent while wielding this weapon and only to activate the following skills: Avoid, Balance, Blinding, Break, Choking Blow, Piercing Strike, Take Down, Basic Combat Tactics, Proficient Combat Tactics, Proficient Malicious, Basic Awareness, and Basic Mental Endurance.
