Built in a neomodern style, the main buildings of Campbell High are three storeys tall and mostly made of concrete. With high windows in almost every room, and often featuring glass ceilings on the uppermost floor, the inside is noted to be particularily bright, but also easily reflects the weather outside in its colour spectrum. With its strictly rectangle-based outline, it has been joked that it looks more like it would belong in The Block.
The campus features a gym, a well as an inner courtyard for the students to spend their lunch breaks.
History
Built in 1997, Jim Campbell Middle School was named after Jim B. Campbell, a Neoclassicist artist living in Cape St. Joan during the early to mid 20th century.
