Detroit goes broke. Shortly before, the city privatises its entire law enforcement. Many follow suit.
Detroit, in an attempt to save its abysmal budget, privatises the law enforcement within its borders. Sanctioned Corporate Heroes and related forces now uphold justice in the town. While Detroit still goes bankrupt two years later, the model itself is a success and many other towns across the US follow suit.
Disequilibria and the Disverse are an original work by KuroMaboroshi.
It contains multiple references to other superhero fiction and media, as well as their creators, that are intended as homages and respectful nods, as are common in the genre.
