Charir

Played by Tijl   As part of the poison dusk tribe, Charir was raised in the middle of the swamps. While most of his tribe members were trained in the art of battle by ambush, Charir was chosen to fulfill the role of shaman. As such, he was raised outside the main group, mastering the teachings of Semuanya.   While the tribe's mastery of poisons and antidotes is beyond question, the human raids on the swamps and the healing performed by the human clerics, made it obvious that the tribe's healing knowledge is limited. Charir, as a young and promising youth, was selected to learn the art of human healing. Having experience with antidotes, he was quickly accepted in one of the mercenary armies wandering the lands during the war, despite his many quirks. But before he was able to master human healing, the Mourning happened.   While the Mourning does not seem to have harmed Charir, his appearance changed dramatically. While once he was a brown-yellow, 1m tall lizard, perfectly built to hide amongst the tall swamp grass, he now stands 2 m tall, his scales glimmering red. If ever he wants to rejoin his brethren, he will have to find a way to hide himself from sight once more.
