Effect

compared to a doctor a psychic healer can almost heal anything. the healer mostly speeds up the body's healing process that it already owns; this could be repairing skin, neuropats, bones etc. he/she can also block pain preceptors or dampen them. They can induce sleep, and improve blood flow by supporting the heart muscle. not much they can't do.

Side/Secondary Effects

• because the body of the healer heats up when using his ability a side effect seems to be infertility.
• because healing uses up a lot of energy there is usually a major glucose drop

this means if the healer uses to much his body will start to shake and can shut down, even slip in a coma if he/she doesn't replace the energy he puts out by eating and drinking.

• exhaustion

Manifestation

to others, the skin of the healer feels very warm to the touch, even when the healer is not healing. When he does, the spot that's wounded/ traumatized usually also warms up. It's accompanied by an electric vibrating sensation going through the body.

often a healer does need to touch his patient to asses him. some healers close their eyes to focus as others keep them open and stare into the distance. the chakra of the healer is in the palm of his/her hands, so usually they will move their hand over or on the source of the pain/wound

• he/she can't heal a bone that's displaced

yes, the bone would heal by the ability but it would heal from the place it is located at the moment, meaning the healer would cause a deformity that could be dysfunctional. So he/she would have to set the bone if possible or wait for a surgeon to place it and then speed up the healing process.

• the patient's body needs to have the required materials to heal

the healer uses the resources the patient's body has so if he/she uses that up it could cause other problems; at least the healing would go way slower. It helps if the patient eats and drinks to replace the minerals the healers are making the body use.
