Eladrin
The Eladrin are a species of fey native to the Feywild. Created by the goddess Esselyne during the Divine Epoch, their kind were considered the rulers of the Feywild for centuries, until their people were almost completely wiped out by the fairies during their conquest of the Feywild following Esselyne's imprisonment. The few Eladrin who escaped the genocide fled to Divostra, where they settled the first High Elven settlements in the Heartwood (the modern-day Balar Desert). Those Eladrin enslaved by the fairies who later escaped during the Great Feywild Exodus would settle in the Shandalian Forest, becoming modern-day Wood Elves.
