Annabelle Stitcher (current alias Gertrude "Gertie" Stitcher) is a businesswoman, warlock, and the founding matriarch of the Stitcher Family.

In her youth, Annabelle Stitcher made a deal with a devil; in exchange for her soul, the devil would ensure her competitors businesses would fail and make the Stitcher family one of the wealthiest and most powerful families in Quilport. Once the Stitcher family's control over the agricultural production of Quilport was assured, Annabelle began seeking a way to ensure the devil could never collect on his end of the bargain. While searching for a way to renege on her bargain, Annabelle overheard a group of adventurers in a local inn discussing their recent expedition to Arathoxia. Annabelle prodded the explorers with alcohol to loosen their tongues, learning that among the items they had uncovered was a tome containing a magic ritual meant to extend a person's life indefinitely. When the men wouldn't divulge the current location of the tome, Annabelle ordered her men to bring them to her home for more intense interrogations. She tortured the adventurers until they revealed the location of the tome was in the Institute of the Intangible, before murdering the men and burying their bodies in her orchard.
Fearing the political fallout that would come from her being linked to a break-in at the Institute of the Intangible, Annabelle hired a group of sellswords to steal the tome for her, after which she had her men dispose of the sellswords and bury the bodies with the rest of their victims in the family orchard.

Annabelle maintains a private orchard within the walls of her estate, where she buries the bodies of people that she or her underlings have murdered. She offers their souls to the dark god Jivitur in exchange for bountiful harvests, or to beseech the god to blight the farms of those that cross her. Though her trees appear misshapen, unnaturally large and feature the visages of screaming faces within their bark, they produce exceptionally bountiful harvests of fruits and flowers that have made Mama Stitcher incredibly wealthy.
