The Void
The Void is one of the Lower Planes of the cosmological map created by the Primordial Titans as a prison for the soul of the dark god Kai'ossh. The chaotic plane is shaped like a spiral pit which was formed by Kai'ossh being cast down into the plane, its chains battering the sides of the chasm to create steep cliffs and deep caverns. Its essence is now trapped at the bottom of the pit by the chains that once comprised parts of its physical form, while the dark god's cries of anger and rage fill the chasm with a constant howling wind that drives lesser creatures insane.
Two other members of the Salchyreon, Tenebrous and Khah'rahk, claim the Void as their domain, unaware of its true purpose. Most creatures exposed to the chaos of the Void for extended periods of time are transformed into demons bent on sewing chaos in order to push existence toward a state of pure entropy. Sufficiently powerful entities such as demigods or ascended gods can resist these effects, though the whispers of the mad god will warp their personality into its darkest iteration.
