PERSONAL HISTORY

Born and raised in a small fishing village on the Talenta Plains, Samms Toppin learned the art of fishing from her father, who was a veteran of the Last war. Her family was close-knit, but tragedy struck when a mysterious illness swept through the village, claiming the lives of her entire family.
Left with nothing but her love for the sea and her unshakable spirit, Samms decided to leave her home behind and try her luck as a sailor. She quickly discovered that her fishing skills and knowledge of the sea made her a valuable crew member, and she found a sense of belonging among the diverse group of outcasts and misfits that made up The Wormwood's crew.
