Aman the Blessed

Leader of the Balan Caliphate, and head of the Balan Counsel. He has been installed by the Seekers of Zeena as the spiritual leader responsible for the Balan Caliphate, and has gathered a counsel to help him reign this country.

The teachings of Zeena teach that the ideal form of government is that one learned individual is given absolute power and is supported by knowledgeable parties that guide him in using this power. This allows for one man to have specialist knowledge in every field and make the supposedly objectively best decisions, without being an expert in them himself. Most decisions require specialist knowledge on multiple fields, and thus the counsel was formed in order for these experts to come together.

Aman has been a fair ruler, listening closely to his god's teachings and thus his counsel that he formed.

He came into power after the previous, childless king abdicated and surrendered his power to the whims of the international organisation that are the seekers of Zeena. This turned the previously Balan Kingdom into a Caliphate, and caused some political unrest that has mostly settled now.

Young and smart, a knowledgeable individual. Strong points in his character are being able to learn new information quickly and discern what is important. He was trust into the position of the leader of the Balan Caliphate and has been doing admirably so far.
