House Mortaelis

House Mortaelis is a highly valued kingdom in High Durhum, yet their very presence makes one's hair stand on end. They often appear hard to read, unknowable, and highly mysterious, and their house color is black, giving them an ominous presence. This has led to somewhat of a stigma against them, yet they provide necessary agricultural, industrial, and academic advances to the other kingdoms. House Mortaelis also controls one of the largest kingdoms in the land, giving them a strong, if, unsettling voice in meetings of the Noble Houses.
