This was when the first gods began to emerger from their eternal slumber.
When the world needed them the most, the gods awoke from their eternal slumber and re-founded their temples, and rid the world of the hideous vampires that treated the mortal races as cattle fit for slaughter. As they awoke they formed several pantheons that ruled the geographically separate areas of the world, brining peace, and light.
