Firbolg

“Well, now. They live in the Big Cave – here in the fens. They look like you, as, of course, I said already, except they're much taller and broader and, well, hairier, and their noses are huge, I mean they just hang out of their faces like a limb hangs off a tree, and, well, they smell bad, and...”
Firbolgs are fey-oriented half-giants, that against the scary sound of that, are very harmonious and friendly beings. Though they can demonstrate formidable skills with weapons and druidic magic if provoked.    Their tribes cloister in remote forest strongholds, as they prefer to spend their days in quiet harmony with the woods. And though they keep purely to themselves for the most part, they have a few friendly relationships with their neighboring wood elves.
Most other beings, that do not live there would never find their towns, if they searched, as the Firbold have mastered the art of blending into the woods, with the help of their magic.

Appearance

Firbolgs resembled humans in their basic features, only really differing with their size, fluffy ears, fur and the blue, pinkish or beige skin they have. Their hair can come in many, many colors, from pink, blue and green to a simple brown or black. Red or blond are the most common colors though.
This hair is usually worn long and their males often sport great, thick beards too.
Their voices too are interesting, as they are deep and smooth, and they tend to roll their consonants when speaking.

DM Advice

If you want to play a Firbolg you will need a very good reason for why it should be out and about in the world willingly, instead of hiding away in the woods with their own, as this race really isnt the one to tend to adventure. So if you can play one or not depends strongly on if you can make it believable.
