Tucked away in a non-descript corner of the west wing, the small stained glass window looks oddly out of place in the Royal Library of Dasav. It depicts the planets, the stars, the weave, and the circles on the other side. While all windows in the library are stained glass, the rest are simpler and cohesive in their design. Nothing but plain geometric shapes and decorative borders. Perhaps a simplified flourish at most, and much warmer colors. The style was unlike anything created in Dasav, and even master Glaziers and glass artists were stumped on the identity of the maker.
History
The window was first noticed during the renovations following the Marriage of Tszli. No one knew where it came from or when it was installed, and as gifts are never to be destroyed, it was left in its place. The mystery of the Gift was born and overnight Dasav was abuzz with theories, rumors, and accusations, but nothing came of it. The creator stayed unknown. Every decade or so after the mystery of the gifted window would be reignited, usually with a new suspect that was soon discarded.
While a few artists has insisted they created the piece, the Royal Library has not supported anyones claim and stands by the artist still being unknown.
