Iolite Lake
"Iolite Lake"
Geography
A large freshwater lake, surrounded by desert in all directions and a small mountain range to the north with a small tributary fed river that drains into the lake. There is no exiting river from the lake, as evaporation is usually balancing out the incoming water flow. The lake itself has a few small chain of rocky peaks sticking up through it, as islands. Around the edges of the lake are many willow trees and tall grasses, that transition to small grasslands, and then taper into sandy desert.
Fauna & Flora
Contains the typical plants and animals native to lakes areas in warm temperate climates. Of particular interest are Lemon Grass, River Willow, Rainbow Willow, Moon Willow, Sun Willow.
Natural Resources
