Review:
Last year my resolution was to try and expand my world, focus on elves for my articles, and fix up some older articles that I had run out of time on. I also had wanted to add more geographic regions and settlements, both in type and in number so that I’d have more homes for future articles. While I did do a little of each of those things, I definitely feel that I fell way short of those goals. I had planned for Worldember to focus on creating various articles related to the oceans, seas, and coastal areas of my world with a concentration on the equatorial regions. I ended up creating a small island continent in the equatorial region, but had too many ideas for locations and various items within it. This took up all of Worldember trying to flesh out out those articles and they are still not finished, so I will definitely need to work on those this year.
The Articles:
This was an interesting article about forgotten elves. I was checking it out because of my last years resolution to work on the elves of my world.
Keeping with my interest in elves, I thought that this was another interesting article about them that I should check out.
Another interestin article about elves, but this time they are Dark elves. I have made mention if a few dark elves in my world but have yet to do any specific articles about them.
I also investigated some dwarven articles, as I had ened up focusing most of my worldember on articles related to them. I wasn't able to finish my dwarven ethnicity in time, but now wanted to see what others had written.
This was another intersting dwarven ethnicity article that helps inspire me to work on some of my own.
This was a very intersting condition that often accompanies someone who also has a special gift.
This was an interesting article about a vibrant and diverse seaside city. I definitely need to andd many cities to my world and this article helps inspire several varieties for me.
Cool article of a book about the animated dead. I was thinking of making something similar but could not decide between having 1 book with all manner of the undead or a separate article for each undead.
This was such an amazing article. It is so beautifully structured and detailed. It could be used as a template for future article designs.
An interesting article on an elven title. This is something that I do not have a lot of in my world. I've found that trying to create them has been difficult. This article will definitely help me add more titles for the peoples of my world.
Resolutions:
This upcoming year I really need to finish up the articles that I started in Worldember and then work on the coastal areas of my world once again. Hopefully time and opportunity will allow me to work on the elves of my world as well. Unfortunately they always seem to get pushed back for one reason or another. Scary forests, desert, and polar regions will also be on the list for future projects as well.
