Red Ale
"Red Ale"
Also know as "Red Juice", "R'ale", and "Reale". The names get more slurred as the drinking goes on.
One of the cheapest alcoholic beverages available in small or isolated towns. Often brewed in large wooden tubs out back, in sheds, or in the basements. Made of red sugar beets, due to their low cost, easy growth, and large numbers. After brewing, it is strained and filtered to remove floaters and sinkers (foreign matter) and stored in wooden barrels. The red staining from the beet juice never quite leaves the liquid and has led to its beverage name.
