Jekyll

However a Jekyll started out, they are all united by their love of anatomy. The curve of a creatures muscles, a perfect joint between two bones, even the blood that rushes through a creatures veins, all of these things are beauty to a Jekyll. A Jekyll love of the natural inner workings of living beings is only matched by their desire for progress. They may even see themselves as artists and will constantly scrutinize their own work, striving to create something great. Once one artwork is finished it won’t be long until they are on to the next. Many brilliant minds will go on to learn great and powerful magic and become wizards. Jekylls however will likely see magic as a shortcut, not a true form of creation. They will want to learn as much as they can about the laws of the natural world around them. Although learning new things is deeply satisfying for them, it will never quite be enough. A  Jekyll will always be thinking of new ways to improve their own abilities as well as their creations. Jekyll will look down on those who hold on to old traditions, always wondering why anyone would want to live in the past instead of being on the forefront of a new intellectual discovery. Wherever they come from, Jekyll usually get a thirst for knowledge and nature from an early age. They are also quite comfortable around death. Was taxidermy the family business, a skill handed down from father to son? Perhaps they were raised in a more wild setting, a hunter of animals who developed a desire to learn more about that which she killed. Perhaps they were imprisoned and only escaped thanks to the help of a close family member. Despite what society thinks of them, they are not necessarily evil, although you might be. They could even have developed a sick desire to know what goes on inside a body from a young age, developing into someone who takes lives for his own sick pleasures.
