Guiding Acts of Righteousness
The guiding acts of righteousness are a set of worthy acts. Invictus's Faithful should always strive to accomplish or recognize these acts, for they are the indicators of one's soul:
Martyrdom of a cause greater than one's self.
Blessed is one who bears the weight of a cause upon his shoulders. Their pain is righteous, and soul is pure. To accomplish this one must make a great sacrifice to preserve their beliefs or cause. Although death is the most noble of these sacrifices, the faithful shall not look past the sacrifices of wealth, time, or comfort.
Diligence in one's craft
One who is rigorous in the perfection and pursue of their craft is pure of faith. One who is lackadaisical in these things is weak in mind and body. Thus, purity of self is achieved in the cleansing nature of hard work.
Vigilance of the Faithful
In order to achieve purity of mind one must be prepared to defend their kin. The threats too the faithful not only manifest physically, but spiritually as well. Therefore, one who is strong of faith will be vigilant for their fellows well being, and practice of faith.
Honorable In Competition
Glorious is he who refuses an unworthy victory. One who is true to his sport, competition, or warrior spirit; shows purity in body, for those who cheat are not worthy of their craft.
Forgivable Sins
Perfection is only obtainable by the gods. Sol is understanding in this way. If one is to sin for a righteous reason, murder in defense, cheating a cheat, and lying to protect; one may seek atonement through hard labor. One who is discouraged must seek out a priest, and confess their sins. One then will follow the priests guidance until their trespasses are forgiven.
Allowable Temptations
Although one of true faith will deny these temptations, one shall not face repercussions for their use if in moderation. However, one should seek atonement if they choose to partake in such things. Allowable temptations are:
- Mind altering substances
Release of anger
excessive deviance
extra rest
