As Plato wrote, In a single day and night of misfortune Atlantis sank beneath the waves leaving only legends. But what became of the …confederation of kings, of great and marvelous power, which held sway over all the island, and over many other islands also and parts of the continent? Did they all perish with their mythic land, or were they preserved by the powers they had mastered and the favor of the gods who granted them their birthright?   In an age undreamed of the kings and mariners of Atlantis fled the destruction of their utopian isle and braved nature’s wrath to found a new Atlantis, a place they called Dominium.
