The Wall of Dawn's Light

The Aesir and Dísir constructed a wall of auroral light to protect themselves from the formless Astral Sea. They called the space within the wall "Ásgarðr". Crystal fragments of the light are scattered about in the void surrounding their new realm. The Aesir amuse themselves forming the star-crystals into pictures (the constellations) of their planned creations.
