Bone Hill
Overview
A grassy mound covering the bones and other remains of the last Hahklemem Gendirlo to roam the land. All were executed by Fau venom. Though the history surrounding the formation of Bone Hill is significant and known by most Gendirlo, few know where Bone Hill is other than in the grass lands. Human maps usually show this landmark, a peculiar hill rising in an othewise flat land.History
The Hahklemems attempted to subjugate all Gendirlo under their rule, citing the Coloktail were doing the same in a more subtle but less moral way. It is said that their rule was gentle and reasonable to those who fell to them, but much of recorded history claims these reports to be warped and inaccurate. The ferocity of the war fought to stop the Hahklemems suggests they were perhaps tyrants and no one wanted to be subject to their rule. Despite being the largest Gendirl species ever, the Hahklemems experienced an inevitable defeat from lack of allies. The Coloktialo, at the behest of the Nackadongo who suffered heavy losses in the war, sentenced all Hahklemems to death through the bites of a Fau. Many Hahklemems calmly accepted their fate and arrived at the execution site with no incident, an empty place in the grasslands in Fau territory. Others who fled were either caught and forced to the mass grave, killed on spot, or left to die alone. When no traces of Hahklemems were left, the Oundats, who also roamed that portion of grassland, shoved dirt over the decaying bodies to diminish the smell and sight. Over time the hill shrunk as nothing remained except bones.
