Session 8: The Fang of Ibiria Session Notes

General Summary

Djera Maha of the Hive hires on the crew to recover an ancient and cursed stilleto known as The Fang of Ibiria from the hands of the Crow's chief assassin Calvin Dannos. Present:

• Athena has been gone investigating what's going on with the Skovlan Rebellion
○ Rumours that there are starting to be riots in the streets over what's going on in Skovlan, it's been confirmed that the supply trains are being halted at Duskvol, essentially starving out the Skovlanders in their home.

Downtime Actions:
Aozun:
• Went to Skurlock: Asked him to look into the details of Deidra's old lover Milos Basran
○ Skulock to research this and get back to him.
○ Aozun owes skurlock a favour for this.
• Asked Skurlock for access to a workshop and gave the deed of The Black Rose to Skurlock as payment.
○ He later went back and asked Skurlock for it back and that angered the vampire who then demanded that he will call upon the crew for a large favour that they cannot refuse.
○ Aozun became aware of the fact that Skurlock is not someone with whom to be enemies. He's starting to suspect him.

• Aozun also visited the girls and discovered that they are definitely becoming more acclimated to their vampiric nature. They are being 'teenager' disrespectful towards Aozun, partially blaming him for their plight as vampires. They are starting to become more inhuman.

Kennedy:
• Val had dinner with him to talk about their relationship but when he started to push to be living together she pulled back.
○ She has started to investigate Kennedy's background and might turn on him. The dual clock represents this.

The Score:

Kennedy and Aozun were given a note from Hive Leader Djera Maha. Kennedy became known as a survivor once he and Aozun met Maha and Karth at the nightmarket at a food stand.
• Maha expressed her desire to wage war and get back at the Crows for the killing of Roric.
• She hired the crew to retrieve the Fang of Ibiria so that she could use it on Lyssa as an ultimate revenge.
• Calvin Dannos was an assassin of infamous repute known for taking on the 'interesting' and immoral jobs.
• Aozun encountered a collosal ghost by the name of Serl (He was a Cabbie who was murdered on the orders of the Crows for double crossing them. Dannos tortured him for 3 days before dumping his body in the canal by the Easternmost bridge in Six Towers) who was terrifying and gave info about Dannos.
• Aozun attempted to open a rift in the Ghostfield to attract a wave of ghosts. This failed and he suffered tremendous harm while creating a Spirit Well singularity.
• The cohort barged in the lair of Dannos' and they found the rift and closed it, managed to headshot Dannos (who had fangs) and retrieve the dagger.
• Kennedy said he would smelt the dagger and destroy it. Did he?

The crew did manage to retrieve the Fang, however it was decided that it would be destroyed and they reported it as such to Djera Maha.
