Down the Well

Thousands of years have passed since the apocalyptic times of Their World. Necrotized monsters have withered away in a few decades and the remaining humans reclaimed the wasteland that Earth had become. Far from throwing away the organesque and the suffering it caused, they refined the formula and developed it further.   Nowadays, the side effects of bionic implants are not even a memory in the stellar civilization of man. Various governments rule their own worlds, connected through spaceships driven by super-augmented pilots, biologically boosted to perform millions of computations faster than a computer. Human-based organesque has been outlawed, unfortunately, no suitable substitute was ever found.   The Well, a space prison for the worst criminals, is a giant cylinder drifting through space. Far from being a regular jail, here prisoners are free and no law applies. At the centre of the spaceship is an improved version of the gravity wells that can be found in the industry. Through a legal loophole, corporations are allowed to use organesque produced by the death of a prisoner, if the death is due to an inmate, who gets a small cut of what they helped produce in return. As such, the Well is an eternal bloodbath, where everyone is at each other throats, following the law of the most augmented.   If you were ever sent there, you better be well-equipped and ready to dirty your hand.
