Candlekeepers
The light of life is a force that flows through all of us and can be channeled by those trained to control it. These disciples of life, called Candlekeepers, use this power as healers and champions of the living. To “keep a candle” is to work toward the common good and preserve the gift of life in all of its many forms. A Candlekeeper might be a local medicine person, a holy knight, or a priest of a great cathedral. But an important distinction exists though that while the title of Candlekeeper may be conferred upon someone who wields the magic of light, there is not one church, cult, or institution of “Candlekeepers.” Each of the dragon blessings is a product of the light, so working in their service is serving Aurora through them. In this way everyone can keep their own personal candle, so long as they work toward the good of us all.
