Amphithere

Amphithere's are basically snakes with bat wings which are sometimes covered with feathers. They're the kind of draconic that humans either hate or love. My personal experience with them has been just that.

They're either trying to eat me, kill me, torture me; or help me, feed me, or care for me. (They can be surprisingly motherly creatures, when they're not trying eat you.)

Basic Information

Anatomy

Amphitheres have a long snake-like body that narrows into a whip/arrow-like tail that can sometimes be decorated with special designs. They have large bat wings, occasionally they will be something more similar to bird wings covered wtih blue, green, or yellow feathers. It isn't uncommon for them to possess more decorative feathers elsewhere on their body.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

There's nothing too special about these draconics, except for the fact that some have fangs that shoot out poison. Some though actually have to bite you for the poison to work. As fancy looking as these creatures can be, they're most dangerous in the sky. On the ground they're kind of just like large snakes with wings and for the most part have the sensory capabilities of your average viper.
Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Most amphithere's have blue, green and perhaps flashes of red whether this is their scales, feathers or even their eyes.
