Drake
Drakes are large, lumbering beasts with large horns and massive claws. Their tales are long, thick, and spiked. These Draconic are what you would usually would think of when someone says 'Dragon' just without the wings. Drakes are some of the largest terrestrial Draconic and are known for having a vast range of powers.
They are so widespread and diverse that most Drakes are only known by the descriptive qualities above, when in reality some Drakes don't have any horns but instead have a large "rhino horn" on their nose. Others don't have scales, but instead have feathers. Some don't even have tails.
However, I like to think that there is one thing connecting all Drakes. Their size.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Drakes are some of the bulkiest and largest terrestrial Draconics. With their massive claws and towering horns they are the powerhouses of Terrestrial Draconics. They have thick, tough scales and large pointy claws. Their teeth are just as sharp and pointy.
All Drakes have thick, stout legs, but some have much longer legs making them look strange next to their shorter siblings. The length of the horns also varies and grow larger each year a Drake is alive. Lastly, a Drake's tail is one of the largest or pointiest parts of its body. It can be large, hard, and flat like a piece of wood, or it can taper into a single pointed edge surrounded by sharp spikes.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
A Drake is extremely strong and surprisingly fast for its size. Using its size and strength as a threat against possible predators. They can go from a stand-still to sprinting in five seconds. With their quick reflexes these Draconics are hard to ambush, but have a soft spot on their belly, which is a huge weakness most Draconics don't have.
Because of this weakness that's why I think most Drakes are actually quite low to the ground. The ones with long legs are only about a yard off the ground. But that aside, Drakes are actually quite calm creatures, and really should just be left alone. If you don't hurt them, they won't hurt you.
